€0

Before SipSmart: the average extra revenue from each guest across 3 nights at your place.

  • A superhost averages €3,200/month from rentals.
  • At 9:30 PM — the guest wants a cocktail, a heated sauna, or a late breakfast. The shop is closed.
  • That money goes to Maxima or Wolt.

How it works

From QR to paid in 12 seconds.

  1. iPhone scanning a SipSmart QR code beside a guesthouse offering

    01

    Scan

The guest points iPhone at the QR on the item or service. The page opens in 2 seconds.

  2. Apple Pay confirmation with Face ID on iPhone

    02

    Pay

Apple Pay or Google Pay. Face ID. Your price.

  3. A host's offering in a guesthouse: Apple Pay just confirmed

    03

    Receive

The product is ready: the capsule activates, the key is unlocked, or the service starts — depending on what you sell.

One scan. One payment. You keep 70%.

Your earnings

Estimated as 1 transactions/day × 30 days × €5 avg margin × 70%. Actual earnings depend on product type (equipment rentals ~70% margin, cocktails ~30%), occupancy and season.

Three frequent questions

This isn't another tech problem.

  • What can I sell?

Practically anything you already have: SUP or kayak rentals, sauna, breakfast, bikes, cocktails, firewood for the grill. You choose, we provide the infrastructure.

    See use cases

  • Do I need a licence or VAT registration?

For most categories — no. Equipment rentals, sauna and breakfast — depends on scale; small operations usually don't. Cocktail capsules on a BYOB model (guest brings their own spirit) — also no. Ask us before committing if you're unsure about your specific situation.

Who's behind this

Hello! For more than 20 years I've been working on a range of IT and marketing projects. SipSmart appeared completely by accident — it started as a challenge, but now it has become a full-time commitment.
